Why we built Meghee

Almost everyone here has a story. A relative who paid for a plot that was quietly sold to three other people. A friend whose savings vanished with the developer who took them. In Nigeria, the fear of being cheated is the real reason so many people never buy — even when they can afford to.

We didn't come from estate agency. We came from building software. For years we've made products that schools, clinics and businesses use every single day — the kind of work where things have to actually work. And we kept running into the same gap: when it comes to land and homes, the information you need to trust a deal simply isn't there.

So we built it. Meghee traces who owns a property, verifies the papers, and lets you inspect the place before a naira changes hands. When a listing is verified, we can show you exactly why. Nothing is taken on faith — not by you, and not by us.
