Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Meghee. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password and transaction PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. Certain transactions require identity verification (KYC) before you can complete them.

Meghee is a marketplace and technology platform that connects buyers, renters and savers with property listings, realtors and property companies. Depending on the listing, Meghee may facilitate the transaction, but the underlying property is provided by the listing company or owner.

We verify listings and trace ownership history to reduce risk, and we let you inspect a property before you pay. These checks are meant to help you make a decision — they are not a guarantee, and you remain responsible for your own due diligence before committing to any purchase.

You can pay through our payment partners or from your Meghee wallet. Wallet balances are funded by you and used to pay for properties, ads, savings and other services. Some services carry fees or service charges, which are shown before you confirm.

You authorise us and our payment partners to process the amounts you approve. Payments made are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where a service was not delivered, or as expressly stated for a specific product. Where a payment fails at a provider after a wallet debit, we credit the amount back to your wallet.

Vault lets you set money aside toward a specific type of property over a fixed period, with a yield provided through a licensed partner. Funds are committed for the chosen term; early withdrawal, where allowed, may be subject to conditions and fees shown at the time. At maturity you may withdraw or apply your savings toward a purchase.

Vault is a savings tool, not a bank deposit or investment advice. Yields are not guaranteed beyond what the applicable plan states, and are subject to the plan terms and any regulatory requirements.

Raffle tickets give you an entry into a draw for the stated prize. Ticket purchases are final. Winners are selected in a live draw for transparency, and the result is shown publicly. You must provide accurate holder details for each ticket; we may require identity verification before a prize is released. Where a ticket was sold on to another person, we may need to contact the actual holder.

Realtors and companies who use Meghee agree to additional obligations, including completing verification, representing listings honestly, and following our marketing and conduct rules. Commissions and payouts are governed by the rates and rules in effect at the time of a qualifying transaction, and are paid to verified payout accounts.

Realtors who run ads through Meghee do so on Meghee's advertising accounts and agree to the applicable advertising platform policies, including rules for housing-related ads. Realtors are responsible for the accuracy of what they promote.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent or infringing listings or content.
• Impersonate any person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to defraud, harass or harm other users.
• Interfere with, probe or disrupt the platform or its security.
• Use the service for money laundering or any unlawful purpose.

Meghee and its logos, software, design and content are owned by Meghee or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them without our permission. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a licence to host, display and use it as needed to operate and promote the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to verify listings and secure the platform, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, valuation or projection is complete or accurate. Property decisions carry risk, and you make them at your own discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meghee is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Meghee for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Meghee harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk for others, or where required by law. You may stop using Meghee at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, disclaimers and limitations of liability — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Meghee after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
