Data Deletion

There are two ways to ask us to delete your data:

• Email us at hello@megheerealestate.com from the email address on your Meghee account, with the subject "Delete my data". Tell us your account name or phone number so we can find you.
• Or use our contact page and choose a data-deletion request.

If you clicked or engaged with a Meghee ad on Facebook or Instagram, that engagement does not create a Meghee account by itself. To remove Meghee's access to your Facebook information, go to your Facebook Settings → "Apps and Websites", find Meghee, and remove it. To also delete any data we may hold about you, send us a deletion request as described above and we will remove it.

To protect your account, we confirm that a request really comes from you before we delete anything — for example, by checking it comes from your registered email or by a quick verification step. This stops someone else from deleting your data.

Once verified, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the personal data we hold about you, including:

• Your account and profile — name, email, phone, photo, address and next-of-kin details.
• Identity verification (KYC) data — your ID document, selfie, date of birth and related details.
• Your saved preferences, messages and marketing contact details.

Some records must be retained for a limited period to meet legal, tax, accounting and anti-fraud obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. This can include transaction and payment records (for example a property purchase, wallet funding, savings or a payout) and records required by law.

Where we keep such records, we limit them to what's necessary and delete or anonymise them once the required period ends. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. If we need to keep certain records for the legal reasons above, we'll tell you what is being retained and for how long.
